We don't believe Christianity is about rules and regulations, it's about relationship and knowing God. Basically it's not a load of dos and don'ts, it's a life lived with God. It's having the strength to go through the hard times with a certainty and hope. It's a life that's given purpose, direction and meaning! It's a life knowing that whatever happens you can get through! Even death isn't anything to fear, because we get to be with God.

Well if you don't know God and want to know what we believe, well it's this:

God is real, alive and the boss!!! He created the world and humans, it was perfect! Then Humans decided they wanted to do things their own way and not God's. (This is what the Bible calls sin.) This brought death into the world and everything else that sucks! Now because of sin God couldn't have the relationship He wanted with us because He's a Holy God (that just mean He's perfect and set apart from us, so He couldn't have a relationship with us because we're not.)

Now God did and does want a relationship with us, so He needed a way for us to get around our sin problem. Now He had done animal sacrifices, but He didn't want the sacrifice he wanted us to live lives that were good. So He sent Jesus, who lived a perfect life, died and took all the stuff we do wrong (sin) on himself and rose again. Now what we have to do is believe in that and we can be with God and have a relationship with Him.

That's basically what we believe in a nutshell. Now you've got a couple of responces:

1) you can laugh and say we're nuts,

2) you can say ok, that's what you believe but it's not for me,

3) you can have a think and contact us and ask some question

4) you could just go straight to God and ask Him to reveal Himself to you.

5) or if you think this could be true, you can say, "Lord Jesus, I believe you died for the stuff I've done wrong and want to have a relationship with you." Now that's called a prayer of salvation (salvation in this sense means having a relationship with God)and if you've prayed it please contact us because it's only the beginning of the journey, of your walk with God and we'd loved to help you move forward in that.
